Crystals, Leather, and Tulle

I think it's safe to say that today's post is by far one of my absolute favorite style posts! Diamonds, tulle, and leather...it's almost too much to handle in one outfit! 

These amazingly gorgeous crystal covered shoes are what started it all! My new favorite pair of shoes (how could they not be?!), I was so excited to style them into the perfect outfit. You might recognize the silhouette of these beauties from a few posts back. And if you do, I am incredibly impressed ;) . That's because Joseph from Redo My Shoe specializes in reviving luxury shoes by straussing them with genuine Swarovski crystals. 

I could gush on and on about how much I love these shoes. Pictures don't even do them justice. The attention to detail is immaculate, leaving not one spec of shoe uncovered. These are without a doubt the fanciest item in my closet. But what girl isn't head over heals for anything with this much sparkle?! 

First came the crystals, then came the tulle. With such gorgeous shoes, I knew the skirt had to be top of line. When I came across BlissTulle, I knew right away I had found it's perfect compliment. The quality of fabric and construction is what really puts these skirts high above the rest. Chic, modern, and adorable on every level, they instantly take any occasion to the next level. With multiple styles and colors to choose from, you are sure to find the perfect tulle skirt for your birthday, bachelorette party, or any random day of the week! Because who doesn't have a great day wearing a gorgeous tulle skirt?!

Last but certainly not least is my favorite handbag company, Gigi New York. As I started compiling my outfit, I knew their leather cross-body purses would be the perfect finishing touch. This navy blue plays off the light blue in the ombre shoes, rounding out the whole outfit.

Party Perfect with LuLu's

'Tis the week of Christmas! So much to do, so little time! Are you guys as behind with gift shopping as I am?! Luckily the husband has been keeping me in line, and we are so close to finishing our list! One of the easiest things to cross off that list was dress shopping for all the parties and festivities that December brings. 

As soon as I saw this grey beaded dress, I absolutely loved it. It's perfect for New Years, date night, or a Gatsby themed party. I added my favorite pearl necklace (an anniversary present from Chris), some black tights, my basic black pumps, and this amazingly soft winter white jacket to complete the look. 

I just ordered two more dresses from LuLu's for New Years and a super exciting upcoming photo shoot! Not to mention the incredible attention to detail, like this sequin/beaded number I have on.

This weekend Chris and I did a little shopping in Beverly Hills, and then headed over to our favorite sushi spot, Sugar Fish. A few Sprinkle's Cupcakes for dessert, and I'd say we had a pretty great weekend. Did I also mention brunch at A.O.C.? And a great Christmas church service?! Honestly, who doesn't love December? (Says the girl who lives in Cali and doesn't have to deal with snow storms...but still!)

Hello, hello! I hope you are all having a fabulous Wednesday! I had a few glitches while uploading today's post, but luckily it's finally all sorted out! Better late than never, right? Like most girls, I have way more shoes than I have space in my closet for. However... that never stops me from buying new ones each season! Although I will say that I've become much better at buying less quantity, and more quality when it comes to shoes. After an 8 hour day, you really start to appreciate the comfort of designer shoes! For this week's linkup I decided to rock a pair of my favorites to wear this fall, these amazing peek-toe heels from Via Spiga! Date Night: Life and Style Linkup

Sweater Weather and Fall Boots

It's finally cooled off a little bit (at least after the sun goes down) and I'm loving getting to wear these super cute fold down boots from Belle Boutique. As soon as I saw them, I knew they'd be going to the apple orchard with me sometime soon. I love the plaid detail when you fold down the top, and they are the perfect way to transition some of my summer dresses into Fall.

Meta Ink Metallic Temporary Tattoos

Who didn't love stick-on tattoos growing up?! Well, now they're back and better than ever with these fun Meta Ink Tattoos! In place of the Disney characters and cheesy designs of our childhood are these boho-chic gold, black, and silver temporary tattoo designs. They are so cute, I love being able to mix and match them. The combinations you can create are basically endless!

I realize it just turned fall, but ever since our Anniversary trip was rescheduled a few weeks ago, I've been really aching to go on vacation. I know, I know, I live in California. But it's not quite the same when your doing dishes and laundry as opposed to staying at a nice hotel. I had planned on wearing this super cute tropical romper on our trip, but since we aren't going until sometime in October, I thought I'd let myself take it out for a spin :)

Life and Style: Fall Free For All

Fall is here!! To kick off the season, the Posh Pair ladies and I decided to go with a fall free for all theme for this week's linkup. So break out your scarfs, hats, boots, or anything that says autumn to you! 

Even with this hot California weather, I'm determined to add in hints of fall into my wardrobe. The most I could get away with today was this chunky sweater scarf, but I'm hoping to add in some light jackets and boots in a few weeks if the weather cools down. Adding in fall accessories makes it easy to add or shed layers when your floating between the cold air conditioned office and the heat of the outdoors on lunch and coffee breaks.

Leather and Diamonds

Happy Friday! Today is my first glimpse into fall fashion, and with cooler weather (hopefully soon!) comes sweaters, leather, and diamonds! Ok ok, diamonds are in season year round ;) For this look I'm wearing my favorite combo: feminine with a little edge! What better way to accomplish that than with a leather skirt and some Kate Spade diamonds!

What to Wear to a Wedding

Hello ladies! I love getting comments and emails from all of you, and have been trying to catch up on answering everyone that I can! Recently I've received a few emails asking about what to wear as a guest to a wedding. I realize that summer is closing in on us fast, but we still have a few more weeks to get in your summer wedding attire! So here it is! :)

If you are going to be in family pictures, try to match the color scheme of the bridal party, or at least wear a solid color so you don't stick out in any pictures. The only ones who should be standing out in the picture are the bride and groom! Bold or flashy patterns are a no-no.

Armed with my self titled watermelon suit, heart sunnies, floppy hat, and of course some sunscreen, we headed down to our favorite beach. Once again, we had the place to ourselves this lovely morning and I'm not gonna lie, it was pretty wonderful.

Ponytail Don't Care

Ponytail, don't care! Ok, so it doesn't exactly rhyme, but it reminded me of some cute shirts I've seen online like this one here and here.

I love the look of a curly ponytail, but hate investing the time to curl each strand if I'm not going to wear it down. The best way to beat the system is to re-curl your hair from the day before. It's much faster and you won't regret pulling it back into a ponytail. If you're hair tends to get greasy, invest in some dry shampoo. I use this one from Sephora.
