Life and Style Linkup: Animal Print

Wow, this past week flew by so fast! It's another Life and Style Linkup today, and this week the beauties of Posh Pair and I are showcasing our favorite way to wear animal prints. As you've probably noticed, all three of us chose to highlight some leopard print shoes. The best part is, we had no idea what the other girls were wearing for the linkup! I guess that's how you know you're collaborating with the right bloggers :)

Even though we all chose to rock some animal print shoes, I love how we each chose a different style shoe. My leopard wedges are from JCrew (see this season's version here), and I bought them last season at a steal! They add just the right amount of fun to any outfit, and the wedge makes walking around the city in them comfortable and easy.

The key to wearing animal print is to keep it simple and classic. Otherwise, you risk crossing over into cougar territory, and no one wants that. Not cute at all! Stacking too many animal prints in one outfit can also get a bit chaotic and distracting (Janice from Friends anyone??). If you do wear a loud animal print, keep your accessories and shoes more neutral to balance out your outfit.

I also came across this cute little leopard print watch band from Guess that I had completely forgotten about! A little reward for cleaning out my jewelry cabinet. It's the small things in life ;)
