Happy Monday

Happy Monday ladies! I'm not usually the biggest fan of the first day of the work week, but sometimes it gives you that great feeling of a fresh start. Particularly when it comes to working out! I don't know about you guys, but I have been severely lacking in the motivation department. 

The best wakeup call to get me out of a slump is to try something new! (Or to suddenly realize I have to be in a swimsuit in a few weeks!) Find a picture that motivates you, whether it's of you at your very best or a before and after pic from Instagram. If you need some inspiration, here's a great place to start: Kayla Itsines.

A few weeks ago I tried my very first Barre class, and I could not walk for two days. Every single muscle in my body was shot, and I absolutely loved it! Not for the faint of heart, these classes tone and strengthen to make you long and lean, instead of big and bulky like other fitness programs out there.

Hey ladies! Another week completed, and the weekend can finally begin! Sometimes I feel like I have three jobs between blogging, a 9-5, and working on the new house. What would we do without the weekend?! (And a glass of wine!)

Apparently I am way behind the times, but I just discovered this amazing website, ShopBop. You have probably all heard of it already, but if you haven't...check it out it's amazing. The price points are very broad, so you can find something great no matter what your budget is. The turquoise necklace I'm wearing in the photos is from ShopBop...and it was on sale! LOVE.

For today's outfit I'm going super casual with a messy bun, my go-to button-down, and this super cute overlap skirt from LuLu*s. I've been so busy lately that pony-tails and messy buns have become my best friends. Oh, and of course braids...total lifesaver's for those days where you hit the snooze button a few times to many!
