Post Ranch Inn: Big Sur

For our two year anniversary, Chris and I decided to head up north to Big Sur for a weekend of cabin living. Driving up the California coast was hands-down the prettiest road-trip I've ever been on. 

Today I wanted to tell you all about our last stop of the trip. On our way back to reality, we thought we'd indulge in one last vacation meal. And what better place to do that then at the Post Ranch Inn?! High on the mountainside, you are literally parallel with the cloud line surrounded by breathtaking views of the ocean on every side. 

We are definitely thinking of coming back to stay at the hotel, since we were so impressed with the restaurant and surrounding grounds of the hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful, and seated us at a great table on the patio. 

The food was incredible, but I'll let the pictures speak for themselves on that one!! We had a hard time leaving, not only because we had a six hour drive ahead of us, but because the atmosphere was so peaceful and tranquil. If this place was a little closer to us, we would definitely be regulars! Of course, if it was in LA, it probably wouldn't have those amazing panoramic views!
