The Glazed Donut Bistro

Perched in West Hollywood, this little donut shop is serving up 'grownup donuts' alongside your choice of coffee, beer, wine, or mimosas. Open until 2am on the weekends, I'd say that's a good recipe for success.

My sister-in-law, Jessyca, introduced us to Stumptown coffee in Portland, so I knew before I even walked through the door that this place was doing a few things right. I ordered the Salted Caramel coffee and it was delicious. Again, salted caramel anything is usually one of my faves, so no surprise there!


The great thing about having a 'cheat meal' at the Glazed Donut Bistro is that they use locally sourced and organic ingredients whenever possible. A nice bonus that you don't see too often in the pastry industry. 

The customer service here is really great. Friendly and helpful, they even brought us over a free donut to take home for later! (um, yes please!!)

So many good options...we may have to pay a few more visits just to try them all!

They were all really good, but the standout for me was the Stumptown Mocha Donut. Something about coffee and sweets is just too good to pass up! Chris, on the other hand, was loving the Maple Bacon. Ok, that one was pretty awesome too!!

The seasonal menu is always changing with new creations being added day to day. On my list to try is the Strawberry Margarita Donut and the Green Tea Donut next time we visit.

Not to mention the savory menu...Fried Chicken Beignets, Donut French Toast, Mac and Cheese Beignets, Monte Cristo Sandwich...yea, that's definitely happening sometime soon!
