Springtime Pastels

Design Life Diaries: Royal Blue and Mint Green #style #spring

Time to break out those pastels! Spring is now in full swing and Easter weekend is finally upon us! Fresh flowers, songbirds, tons of color, and new beginnings mark the end of winter and it's gloomy weather (hopefully!).

Royal blue and mint green has to be one of my favorite color combos right now. To say I like these colors is probably a massive understatement. In fact our living room palette is primarily blue, turquoise, and mint green.

Of course there's some grey and dark tones to balance out the room...but I'll save that for another day, another post! Needless to say, this won't be the last time you see these two colors together.

For today's outfit I wore that adorable white lace top I've been saving for warmer weather. It was actually a birthday present from my awesome cousin, Taylor! Thanks Tay! ;) It goes really well with the chiffon maxi skirt; the perfect combination of lace detail and white simplicity. Add on the royal blue statement necklace, matching sandals, and quirky sunglasses...and voila! Springtime outfit complete!

I'm also loving all of the new flowers throughout our neighborhood. One of the great things about LA is the crazy variety and abundant amount of plants and flowers. I feel like every time I take Bella on a walk there are new flowers blooming on every street. How pretty are those lavender flowers?!
