Spa Day at Home

Last weekend my friend Ariana hosted an at-home spa party at her beautiful apartment in Playa del Rey. The views from the wrap around balcony are absolutely stunning; it was the perfect place to have an afternoon get-together with friends. 

As with any great spa experience, small bites and drinks were provided by our lovely hostess. Freshly cut veggies and dip, homemade salsa and hummus, and grilled asparagus made for an amazing spread of refreshments to snack on throughout the party.

The strawberry-topped cake, made with homemade whipped cream, was way too delicious to have just one piece. The white cake was decadent without being too rich, and the fresh strawberries were the perfect topping to balance out the flavor.

She made her amazing raspberry mojitos (one of my favorites!) which are dangerously smooth and refreshing. 

We had so much fun trying new products, having some girl-time, and beautifying our faces in the process. A great day spent with friends, and a nice alternative to a girl's night out!
